PrepMod is a web application for vaccine management that helps vaccinators process patients and data, however its functionality was very much limited and it was operating for Maryland only and struggling with scalability.

Devsloop played an active role by adding folks to their team with the aim to make the application stable, scalable and performance oriented to handle the upcoming high traffic (10,000 request per second). Production release were made daily to rolled out performance improvements, new features and bug fixes. PrepMod had to operate in over 20+ US states with over 1 million users registering to the site. To achieve this, different performance optimisation tools and techniques were used. 20 different sites were set up for each state and maintained regularly.

Over the span of 8 months, PrepMod has vaccinated over 6 million people in US with the system improving day by day.
